Security-aware care
Updates, SSL checks and sensible monitoring help reduce avoidable risks. No provider can promise perfect security, but neglect should not be the plan.
Silver Ivy Media Website Management
A website should not be treated like something you launch once and forget. It needs updates, care, security awareness, content support and a clear support path so it keeps working for the business behind it.
Plain-English explanation
Website management is the ongoing care of your website after it has been built. It can include hosting, platform updates, plugin checks, SSL support, security monitoring, backups, content updates, troubleshooting, small improvements and support when something needs attention.
In plain English: we help keep your website usable, updated and supported so you are not left alone with hosting notices, plugin warnings, broken layouts, expired information or technical questions you never wanted to become an expert in.

What good management should do
Many websites fail slowly. A phone number changes, a plugin gets outdated, a form stops working, a page becomes confusing, a security warning appears, or nobody knows who must fix what. Website management puts a proper care process behind the site so it can keep supporting enquiries, trust and day-to-day business activity.
Updates, SSL checks and sensible monitoring help reduce avoidable risks. No provider can promise perfect security, but neglect should not be the plan.
Websites need routine attention so software, plugins, content and forms do not quietly fall behind.
Clients should know how to ask for help, what is included, what is urgent, and what may need a separate quote.
A managed website should stay readable and usable across real devices, not only look good on launch day.
Small updates, wording changes and layout refinements can keep a website useful as the business changes.
You can focus on your business while Silver Ivy Media handles the website care included in your package.

Service inclusions
The exact inclusions depend on your selected package or quote. Before work begins, we confirm what is included, what counts as support, what would be quoted separately, and what the client still needs to manage on their side.
Where included, your website is hosted and supported through the agreed Silver Ivy Media managed hosting setup.
We help keep SSL and reasonable security measures in place according to the selected plan.
We manage routine updates where included, while being careful not to treat updates as a blind click-and-hope exercise.
Backups may be included as a safety measure, but clients should still keep independent copies of critical business information.
Depending on the plan, we can help with small content changes, page edits, contact detail updates and website wording adjustments.
We can help check that important enquiry paths, contact buttons and forms are still working as expected.
Clients can send support requests through the agreed channel so work is recorded and prioritised properly.
Larger redesigns, new features, integrations or major content work can be quoted separately before we proceed.
Our process
Website management works best when support is clear, recorded and practical. We use a simple process so urgent issues, routine care, content changes and out-of-scope requests do not get mixed into one stressful mess.
We look at the current website setup, hosting, platform, plugins, forms, content needs and support priorities.
We confirm what your selected package includes, what is excluded, what requires approval and what may be quoted separately.
We agree how support requests should be sent so issues, updates and approvals are recorded clearly.
We handle the routine care included in the package and keep an eye on issues that need attention.
As your business changes, we can quote and implement improvements, new pages, content changes or extra features where needed.
Trust and clarity
Silver Ivy Media aims to be helpful without making vague promises. We use reasonable care, documented support, fair policies and plain-language expectations so clients understand what is included and what sits outside the plan.
We use reasonable care and reputable systems, but no website, host, plugin or third-party provider can promise perfect uptime or zero incidents.
Website management is not unlimited redesign, unlimited copywriting or unlimited new features. Out-of-scope work is quoted before proceeding.
Clients remain responsible for accurate content, lawful business claims, product details, pricing, policies, passwords and third-party accounts.
For online stores, the client remains responsible for products, orders, refunds, warranties, delivery, stock, customer service and business compliance.
Completed work, work already performed, approved work, hosting already used and third-party costs are not automatically refundable except where the law requires otherwise.
We store client and project records securely and in line with POPIA. Clients should not send passwords, OTPs or banking access details through ordinary forms, email or WhatsApp.

Policies without the legal fog
Our Terms, Privacy / POPIA Notice, Refund & Cancellation Policy and PAIA Manual explain the detailed rules. This page gives a plain-language overview so clients know where to find the correct information before they choose a management package.
