Quality checkpoint
- Do not expect arbitrary PDF splitting/merging
- Keep the original file and check pages visually
The calculator, builder or download above works independently. AI Assist is an optional explanation and writing helper, never required to complete the core task.
Make PDF documents privately from pictures and inspect existing files
PDF files are common for quotes, reports and scanned paperwork, but handling them should not require uploading sensitive documents to an unknown website. In this first workshop release, you can arrange JPEG, PNG or WebP images, rotate them, add a page watermark and generate a downloadable PDF entirely in your browser. You can also inspect basic properties and preview a selected PDF. Merge, split and compress of existing PDF files are not implemented in this release: complex and encrypted PDFs need a proven parser to avoid silent damage. We expose these limits rather than pretending every PDF can be repaired.
Before you start
PDF tasks vary greatly. Converting images into a PDF is comparatively straightforward; preserving fonts, interactive fields and form scripts in an existing PDF is much harder. Always work from an original copy and inspect the generated output.

How to use this tool
- For a new document, select up to 20 images and arrange them in the desired order.
- Choose an A4 or image-sized layout, per-page rotation and an optional text watermark before exporting.
- For an existing PDF, switch to Inspect mode. View the browser preview and verify details locally; use your trusted PDF application for complex conversion or password-protected files.
A real-world example
A freelancer photographs five signed delivery receipts, arranges them in chronological order, rotates a sideways picture and downloads one A4 PDF for the client records.
Re-exporting images as JPEG inside a PDF may reduce picture fidelity. Keep the originals, and do not treat a print copy as a digitally signed original document.
Check this before you finish
- Check format, page orientation and reading order.
- Verify output dimensions and file size.
- Retain originals before any conversion or flattening.
What to avoid
This version cannot claim universal merge, repair, compression or dynamic XFA conversion.
WHAT THIS TOOL ACTUALLY DOESInspect local PDF metadata and create PDFs from supported image files without a server upload.
Frequently asked questions
Can it merge or split uploaded PDF files?
Not in this release. It combines images into a PDF and inspects existing PDFs. We will only add existing-PDF manipulation with a verified, locally bundled PDF library.
Do files upload to Silver Ivy?
No. Image conversion and inspection operate in your browser; nothing is sent to the website server.
